This cross stitch is one I completed in 1995 after about 13 years in progress! I started this one after I had my first child and as the subsequent children arrived, the progress stalled. Cross stitch threads and toddlers are not user friendly and for a while I spent more time resorting thread colours than stitching! I went on a mission in 1994/1995 and spent many late nights and early mornings completing it. It is an Eva Rosenstand design.
Cross stitch was the first handcraft I got hooked on many many years ago when I was a teenager. I completed quite a few over the years and still have a couple of works in progress.
I have recently found a couple of blogs relating to cross stitch and this has inspired me to add photos of my cross stitch works to my blog too. Over the next few weeks I will post photos of my other cross stitching. I love that we all have a means of sharing our projects and common interests online and encourage you to leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
