Another finished small quilt

I know I've been absent from the blog for a couple of weeks, but in between all of life's little dramas (computer, dose of the flu through the house, third term of year 12 etc etc) I have actually completed another small quilt.

I've also started Patchwork Posies from the book, In Full Bloom by Blackbird Designs.

I'm often frustrated by how quickly the start of a new quilt comes together and then life intrudes on quilting time and before you know it, it's been weeks since you made any progress! I thought this project would be a really quick one! I finished these blocks in a week - they were great fun! After changing my initial selection for the backgrounds, I am now ready to do the applique blocks.
